The Nacon Revolution 5 Pro controller features Hall Effect technology in its joysticks and triggers, eliminating stick drift and enhancing precision and durability. Developed in partnership with professional fighting game player Mister Crimson, the Revolution 5 Pro offers a specialized D-Pad design that can be easily swapped with a traditional D-Pad.

Customization is at the core of the Revolution 5 Pro, with a multitude of options to personalize the controller. Users can choose from 3 grip weights, 3 joystick sizes, 3 joystick heads, 2 D-Pads, and an external chat mic. The software customization features 5 pre-set profiles, trigger blockers, 4 remappable back buttons, and wired & Bluetooth audio controls.

The trigger blockers allow users to select between long or short trigger pulls, adapting the controller to specific gaming styles or in-game situations. The touch pad on the controller enables adjustments to the sound equalizer (EQ) and microphone gain when used with PS5 or PS4 consoles.

Connectivity options are plentiful, with the Revolution 5 Pro being compatible with PS5, PS4, and PC. The controller can be used wirelessly, with a USB-A wireless adapter and up to 10 hours of battery life, or wired, utilizing the included 3-meter USB-C to USB-A cable.

The Hall Effect technology employed in the joysticks and triggers uses magnetic sensors to eliminate stick drift, while increasing the precision and durability of these critical components. This technology helps prevent friction and mechanical wear, extending the controller's lifespan compared to traditional mechanisms.

The Revolution 5 Pro is not compatible with Xbox or mobile devices, but it is fully compatible with PC games that support the X-Input protocol, including those on the Steam platform. However, the controller does not feature the haptic feedback vibration exclusive to Sony's own controllers on the PS5.

The four remappable back buttons can be customized directly on the controller, without the need for the accompanying software application. This application, available for Windows 10/11 and macOS, is primarily used for software updates and advanced profile customizations.

While the Revolution 5 Pro supports Bluetooth 5.2 wireless audio for game audio, an optional external plug-in microphone is included for in-game chat, as the Bluetooth functionality is limited to audio output only when in PS4/PS5 mode.
